Spoiler Alert : This is the entire story : Read only if u want to skip the movie. The movie starts with a team of police's rigorous search in remote hill station for a murder convict who was out on parole but did not return when the parole period got over. The team nabs this murderer at a estate where he had went to attack a person. Now while going back around an place called pattam valavu ie the 10th turn they find out that there has been a landslide and the road has been blocked and will only open after atleast a couple of hours. The investigating officer's wife was in labour that day and after completion of the above said mission he was to proceed on leave directly from there, which wasn't possible due to the landslide, so he was worried he would miss her delivery. Meanwhile, he started talking to the murder convict to know his story why he killed a person, which was as below : In late 1960’s there was a huge landslide many people died soloman was the only person who escaped from that accident which took away his parents, post which he was raised and brought up by the church, priests and the village. He grew up married a beautiful woman and had a sweet little daughter. Life was smooth for them. On the church festival day their daughter was nominated to be one of the little angel, her mother dressed her up and asked her to wait join the other girls for the march and that she would be waiting outside. No one saw that little girl after that. The parents, the police made a frantic search of 2–3 days to find the little girl but she was no where to be found. Later that day some came running to Solomon to get ready and come to the junction saying that the police has found something. What the police had found was : A six year old girl's body brutally raped and killed by two boys of age around 20, with a hit of iron rod on her head. (Suraj Venjaramoodu who played the role of that father acted it so well that you would cry for his loss.) . Even then he was calm, he attended all the court proceedings while grieving for his daughter's death. Turned out that the culprits ( ie these two boys were from very powerful and well off family who easily won the case and were set free by the court due to lack of substantial evidence against them. The day the judgement came these guys danced in front of the girls parents shamelessly. That's when Solomon's wife told him “Kill Them“ . Solomon killed one guy there only with a knife but the police caught them and he waited 3 years to get this parole to kill the 2nd boy who raped and killed his daughter but before he could the police caught him. By the time soloman's story was over, the investigating officer got the news that he had become a father of a girl, both the mother and daughter are fine. He advice Solomon that I being a father of a girl understand what you have lost but that never justifies killing anyone. So forget everything that would be better for everyone. . …. … 5 days later Solomon has visitor : The visitor is the investigating officer who came with a newspaper whose front page reads that “20 year old boy killed in a brutal accident. The killed boy was a suspect in a rape and murder trial 3 years ago. Hit and run case has been registered.” and said Someone else did what you had to do now leave all your anger and think about the life ahead of you and. About your wife. Solomon told the officer : Sir, I have been in this jail since 3 years if no substitute came innthas happened during those years and it has happened now, then that substitute has to be a father of a daughter.
