I just moved to Chicago and needed a new eye doctor in the area to get glasses. I was recommended to go to Eye Level Inc. This turned out to be a mistake. The exam was good but getting the glasses made properly was not. I wanted sunglasses for light sensitivity and my insurance always covers them. Unfortunately they made the sunglasses with reader lenses…not what I wanted. I sent them back and asked for no prescription just sunglasses. When they finally came back they were for distance. So now I have sunglasses that I cant see with and I had to pay out of pocket for. They were inconsistent telling me the glasses were ready and then not ready and then requiring an appointment just to pick them up. Overall they were rude and not at all helpful. The worst part is that I have ended up with glasses that are completely useless.
