Like a lot of previous reviews I do agree with the inaccurate representation with wokeness in the series and also agree that the characters were not explored enough. I also felt that when romantic character scenes came up it felt emotionless in a sense, a specific look at this is the romantic relationship between Freydis and Harald. Freydis is supposedly also having feelings of love for harald but despite the two intimate scenes you just don’t feel it in the show and if anything she seems very cold towards him. Keep in mind there’s 8 episodes to the series so there’s not much they could work with (the producers) to expand on every character in this time but I think if they had released a full season (24 episodes) they could have delivered a much more emotional experience.
