The critics slated this film and it's certainly a marmite movie it would appear. My wife and I loved this movie. Neither of us have read the book by Jane Austen so we havent been tainted but it would appear the purists aren't happy. We viewed it fresh and without prejudice and found it most refreshing . Perhaps it's because we are not intellectuals and simply viewed it from an entertainment point of view.
