The film tells a captivating story well but some of the performances completely ruin it. The sergeant is loud and shouts almost to a laughable extent which makes it seem incredibly unrealistic in comparison to the performance of most of the miners. Given the budget, it was very good but casting decisions aren’t always restricted by budget.
