The dialogue is wild, I checked out after the first 20 minutes or so and went to go see Black Phone 2. Paranormal Paranoids 🥴

It’s hard to review movies like this because personally I didn’t like it, but I understood what it was going for. The whole movie is a slow burn that makes you uncomfortable throughout with the emotionless acting, which was the point, but at times it feels like it drags on. Super dark humor, some quick dialogue jabs made me laugh a few times but at other points it made me cringe and I’m an avid horror fan. It looked great cinematography wise and the actors were solid but I don’t think I’d see it again or recommend it to a friend.

A movie that looks amazing in a setting that isn’t fully fleshed. One of those movies that’s interesting to look at and grips you so you want to see where it goes, but then you realize it’s going nowhere fast. It genuinely feels like they had 4 good scenes and tried to string them together with filler. The actors and cinematography are awesome there’s no pay off when you get to the end.
