The issue with this particular series is that the plot stretches credibility beyond credibility. No matter how good the aesthetics of the acting and scenery, the notion that a Police Force with incredibly limited resource, manpower and investigative skills could seek to deal with serious organised international is laughable. The result is a preposterous , meandering and excruciatingly boring drama that is as tasty as a Rotten herring. Waste of money and talent, BBC.
