Thought I’d give this a shot, I like horror and sci-fi and I usually enjoy shows based on books. This disaster of a show is very loosely, if at all based on the book. I barely made it through the second episode. Cons: very political/woke writing. We get very, very diverse characters in what is supposed to be a tiny farm town. We get very strong, smart, and take charge, can do anything and everything women here. From the kids to adults they are written to be perfectly capable and flawless. . The men are weak, cheaters, irrational, etc etc. This could have been a great show, considering the source material. But oh well, I’ll find something else.

Watched this for the first time when I was about 10. 2 decades later this is probably the movie that stuck with me most into adult good. Amazing acting from kids to adults. Great story, you feel for every character and the development is there for almost every one. You can laugh, cry, get angry and me amazed all at once with this movie. Haven’t seen it in probably 5 years at least and I just randomly thought of it again. Need to watch it now.
