I was an idiot for wasting so much time trying to read and enjoy this book. This was an insufferable and pointless read with a main character who seemed as lost and uninterested as I was while trudging through this exhausting novel. I made it to page 302 and finally decided to stop torturing myself and move on to a book with a followable plotline. Selin seemed entirely uninvested in her own life, and it baffles me how she was able to make and foster relationships with her friends. To those who gave this book a rating of three stars or higher, I ask you: why? I am genuinely confused by the positive reviews and would like some explanation. What about this book made you want to continue reading? What about the main and side characters drew you in? I may never get answers due to the overall lack of positive reviews anyways. I guess I can no longer trust online book recommendations because I wouldn't recommend this book to my worst and most hated enemy.
