James Gunn forgot which movie he was making and gave us Suicide Squad 3 instead. This sucks all the joy and fun from the Guardians and creates a dark depressing story where terrible things happen all the time. An alarming amount of time is spent torturing realistic-looking CGI animals, so don’t take the children. In fact, don’t take anyone — stay home and watch the Guardians Christmas special with Kevin Bacon instead. That’s a delight and a much more fitting way to send off these characters.
