If I were Ethan’s parents I wouldn’t like Olivia either because she is only concerned about herself & does absolutely nothing but drive a wedge between them & all of their children. Oh & obviously lives her life assuming that Ethan isn’t good enough for her because when she isn’t trying to destroy his family she is spending the rest of her life acting like she can do better & is constantly looking for greener grasses. She needs a wake up call because nothing will ever make her happy & she is lucky to have someone like Ethan. There isn’t too many men that would put up with her. As for Ethan, Grow a backbone & stand up to her by telling her that she is the problem & not him & for heaven sake pick up the phone & call your parents because when Olivia runs off to chase her dreams you will understand how important they are & take my word when they are gone & you can’t get back that time you lost you will regret it. There are way more important things in life than letting your jealous wife control you & I would give anything on this planet to be able to get back just one of those unanswered calls that I chose to ignore because parents don’t live forever & God could take them tomorrow. Then what? Are you going to never visit their graves for Olivia? If she keeps you from the people that you love then she doesn’t love you anyways. Don’t lose anymore time!
