Why didn't they use the drone to just lower the phone to the base of the tower so the message would send? Or, use the drone to knock out the airplane light?

Moody, suspenseful, sinister, beautiful cinematography. Deducting one star for the ending - an I Told You So final scene would have worked better with the storyline.
