One of the best war movies ever made. The music is timed perfectly with the script. The story is gripping and intensely emotional. Depicts the first world war in a very real way and was filmed shortly after the war.

Terrible. They completely changed the story to make it more kid friendly and politically correct. The original story is about independence and perseverance, it's a dark gritty story about the Yukon. This is some feel good cutesy movie that's supposed to make kids feel good about their pet dog. It's like the writers just read the spark notes instead of actually reading the book. Watch any other version of this movie instead. Harrison Ford should be ashamed of himself for participating in this bullsh*t. If they wanted to make balto 2 then they should've left call of the wild alone. Also the cgi is poorly rendered and completely unnecessary.
