They are gradually making the show more progressive. Been watching the show with my kiddos who are 5 years apart. First it started with the mom who was made less feminine - first it was subtle voice changes in the parents, clothing changes, then it was the mom who became the parent with the toolbox who comes to the rescue to repair the plumbing (not that a woman can’t do that but this TV show does it to make a point which is annoying after seeing how much Sesame Street has changed and honestly when I look at everyone’s family in my diverse neighborhood it’s the father who manages the toolbox and plumbing). Now, the dumbest thing of all is that they now changed Daniel Tiger’s voice to sound more feminine (less aggressive is probably what they are going for here) - they just showed Jodi talking to Daniel and she now sounds like a boy compared to Daniel’s new voice. Eventually will stop watching just like we did with Sesame Street.
