Great acting but a clearly biased movie. Doesn't take an Einstein to see what the director has done here: inflating expectations from the outset of a great dynamic /hyped movie of a success story of a guy who made it (ignore this is about Trump, can be anyone) then slowly transitioning to sadness as to leave the viewer with a bitter taste at the very end when judging the character (to name a few: putting the American flag on a cake in a scene that is about death and where main character delivers a speech, subtly associating him with all sorts of negative emotions; playing the racist card; the rape card in a subtle way; the homophobic card (by arguing and disappointing his "mentor" who was gay) etc. Not least, in the name of the movie and in the release date, which just happens to be ahead of November elections.
I am disgusted and disappointed it has come to this in cinematography. Great acting overall but why this agenda? Ultimately this is a guy who made it and who from business transitioned to presidency. How many of us can claim that?
Lost respect for the director. And the same people who argue for democracy are killing it. Are killing free speech, free debate and free thinking. Shame on you for polarizing the public before the election through this subtle manipulation. Like the newspapers aren't already enough. Let cinematography be cinematography.
