Very pedestrian with a number of historical inaccuracies, for example daytime television didn’t exist in 1964 !. Difficult to distinguish between the multitude of characters.
Should have been better researched by the author. Liverpool to Whitby in 1964 by car, 3 hours with no M62 . Don’t think so ! !

Watched this on a long haul flight. All the actors, looked as though they were acting. Very predictable and not scary.
