This is my first ever review and it's mostly being written to just to get my own thoughts in order after watching. This movie captures the dynamics and competitive behavior found in many heterosexual relationships today. While also providing glimpses into gender, roles, influence, and misconceptions. After watching this, I was left confused. Not due to any ambiguity in the creation but because of how well written the script was. In reality situations are never 'black and white', all actions have a story. Those reasons may not always justify the action, but they do enable some sense of understanding. Characters responded to situations (for the most part) accurately, at least to degree. Both characters are confronted with challenges when gender stereotypes, and roles are switched. This reversal of roles depicts the fragility of both masculinity and femininity, depicting a diverse perspective of the cost both genders face
