And we are led to believe that the tennis coach was supposed to be such a control freak with his family but didn't have the strength of character to tell the girl to **** off and get out of the house. Unbelievable rubbish

Oh dear , another Hollywood version of how America “won” World War 2 even though they were 2.5 years late in joining in. Those rugged,, strong jawed strapping American youth came over to show us British how to do it. ( Who knew Elvis flew a B17 ?). Those stuck up British chappies needed a good licking didn’t they. What did they know about bombing missions? They’d only been doing it since 1940 for gods sake. If only they’d known the American cavalry was going to save us and the world they could have sat back and not had 50,000 crew killed on operations. A war film set in England that manages to avoid mentioning any English.. an achievement indeed. The book Masters of the Air was a disappointing read in itself. The tv series manages to be even worse. Save your subscription money and avoid this series. It’s neither artistically worthy or historically accurate.
