WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
In short, Kevin Costner is definitely NOT Tyler Sheridan! Costner's massive ego thought he was bigger and better than phenomenal Yellowstone, he clearly is neither. Yellowstone is clearly disabled without Costner.
I went in to the film not tired, but fell asleep THREE TIMES from boredom and unattractive and confusing narrative.
No endearing characters arose of any remark.
I have paddled across half of Canada, and I am a proud First Nations man, and retired teacher with History major.
Outdoor cinematography was okay but was definitely not in the same arena as 'Dances..'.
Brutal realistic depictions of white/native conflict was impressive but not exactly inspirational.
Was there a SINGLE enduring, memorable character in the whole PAINFUL affair? Nope. Even Costner 's character was not even fleshed out.
Overall, a waste of my time and money. Great sadness.
