Honestly, this movie was quite underwhelming. I mean, it’s alright, I just expected much more. The Netflix series is great and portrayed the characters well but this movie changed my perspective on the flash and involved characters in negative ways. The movie made the flash seem much more nerdy and awkward, I think the crowd this movie was directed at would prefer a cooler, more sensational superhero than the awkward kid that was shown on screen. Also, the CGI in some of the running scenes was very unappealing, same with the time travel scenes, that is not what people would imagine time travel or running at super speed would look like. It gives the the viewer a sense of disengagement. It’s just not what people want to see when they come to the theatre. Overall, I would give this movie a 6/10. The movie had a decent balance of action and dialogue/storyline, it just didn’t have good enough plot or visual appeal to stand out. Improvements could’ve been made.
