I have watched this show from the beginning also as well as on the iplayer. This year, 2024, was not in any way up to the usual quality of entertainment and, in particular, the sewing. That must have been way down on the list of criteria when selection was made. Do you have any sewers on the selection panel or are they a team of teenagers wanting a superficial reality programme? I watched the whole series thinking that it would settle and show us the amazing sewing outcomes we all have come to expect. Alas no. The final was the worse one of all. Two giggly girls and one fairly serious man. The best one won...doesn't mean it was of a high quality as the bar was set so low. Watch the other 9 serese again as a reminder of what Sewing Bee is all about. A standard of excellence by amateur sewers. Do yourselves and your loyal followers a favour and, as an act of respect to all of the unbelievable sewers in the UK,........select some grown ups please. That is if the programme carries on.
