This piece of cinema needs to be remembered, praised and shared with all. With mighty performances overall, there is a tale to tell here regarding the United States' past regarding segregation and racism. But through it all, the unlikely friendship of two people shines between these tones as a remainder that true support and kindness don't have no filters, nor it needs them. A truly remarkable heart-felt film.

Full of tropes, Kate Bishop is highly skippable as a hero character.

The good performances, the awesome music by Yoko Kano and the sci-fi madness of a setting made by Shinichiro Watanabe now brought back to wondrous live action are all overwhelmingly silenced by the visual fiasco of cinematography and the poor teleplay made for this Netflix series. Blueprinting something from an anime is difficult and rarely accomplished. This definitely was not accomplished. Not worthy of a rewatch.
