The outline of this book is very interesting the world building has serious potential and i was excited to see where the book went when it started. I am excited to see what N.E. Davenport puts forward in the future. However, this book I do not recommend. The main character is written as a incredibly passionate quick to a temper and a fight. This could be okay but she is also supposed to be intelligent and she puts herself into situations multiple times where clear allies to the reader remain enemies to her for half the book and you constantly want her to open her eyes and stop. I found this frustrating to read, her character never really develops throughout the book and her plot armor is the only thing that keeps her alive as she continuously acts against her own self interests.
