As a mystery, it is very well written, suspenseful and keeps you guessing. So much so that the end of the trilogy makes you question as to what is next. What was disappointing is that it deviated from the mystery writing into unfaithfulness and character assassination when making the lead character unfaithful to a good husband and their infant son. That took away from the character. The mystery would have worked just as well without this flaw as the mystery was so well written. If the author can keep true to her writing and stay within the mystery and wondrous writing, then it can and will only get better. Looking forward to any other movies from this author.
