This is drama in a sci-fi setting. At all points the interpersonal relationships and "drama" are valued more than telling a scientifically coherent story. The visuals are also unique for a genre that has been done time and against at this point.

This show romanticizes the absolute worst things about the service industry.

"Feel good" in both an affirmative and pejorative sense. The show likes to stay in a place where It acknowledges systematic issues, especially in a meta way. But the later half suffers from the feeling of being over edited to the point that any real message is effectively washed out from the experience.
