I liked the movie up to its horrid ending. That the sick individual with the hoarding disease was left to die alone by her daughter, then burned in a house fire was appalling. She was treated like a piece of trash instead of being given respect and compassion and treated with dignity.
Melissa Hart's portrayal was good up to a point of her being vilified rather than being helped. IMO, she overacted in the role of a hoarder. Hoarding should be treated as a disease, not a death sentence. Maybe it was a difficult role for her to portray. However, the producers and directors on the set might've improved the movie by engaging an alternate ending where the person with the OCD gets help and understanding to aid in her recovery rather than rejection.
