I’ve watched Korean shows/movies evolve over the past 35 years. Mr. Sunshine tops the list. All around great story, cast and cinematography. The one problem that unfortunately haunts ALL Korean tv shows is the selection of foreign actors. Where do they find them?! The foreign actors are by far the worst actors on the planet. The guy that plays the Major is the best I’ve seen so far but still not even close to the other actors. When foreigners see acting like the school teacher or the fencing instructor, it ruins the overall impression. Whatever agency they use to recruit these people..uhg, they must stop. It’s as though they run down to the subway station and look around for foreigners. Aside from the foreign acting, it’s an outstanding show.
