This author seems to blame Israel and skirts past the facts that Palestinians have been offered an independant Arab state since 1937 and 1947 and never complained for an i independant additional arab state when Jordan and Egypt occupied the Palestinian Territories or owned them. No. And when the most left wing ( and centre right ) isreali governments offered Palestinian Arabs almost 97 % of pre 1967 borders or 1948 similar borders. What did Arafat/ PLO do ? Reject it and cause the second intifada because he wanted the right of return to so called Palestine refugees to Israel - not to to return to new state of Palestine but to return to Israel - in other words the destruction of Israel. Trying to be clever. Disgusting. Palestinians have no one to blame but themselves . They want to destroy Israel more than they want a seperate state of Palestine living in peace side by side with Israel.
