This is a really good reality show! Once I started watching, I couldn't help but enjoy watching the different patients who came to see Dr. Nassif and Dr. DuBrow. It is really interesting to listen to their issues and visually see the issues just as though you went along with these patients on their appointment.
First, you get to learn so many interesting things. The surgeons explain the challenges posed by the procedures and the potential risks. They also teach us a few medical/surgery vocabulary words to expand our knowledge. They even show these incredible professional diagrams. In the past, before reality television, we never really had the opportunity to see what goes on with surgeons. This really lifts the veil.
On the other hand, it is just as interesting to empathize with the patients and really see how self-conscious and inhibited they feel about their flaws/deformities/botched surgeries. Were it not for this show, I never would have known that people could have so many different kinds of problems on their faces and their bodies.
Finally, there is a great sense of humor on the show. The surgeons are really funny and have great banter between each other. It keeps the show on the lighthearted side. At the end of each episode you get to see the final results of the surgeries. Get ready to be amazed!! :-)
This reality show goes to show that doctors and surgeons are heroes!! Bravo to Dr. Nassif and Dr. Dubrow!!
