Despite the presence of two good actors, Kate Hudson and John Corbett, this movie falls short. Every sequence is predictable.

A good story with mostly good acting. However the writers and the directors tend to drag it out. What could be shown in 2 or 3 mins will take 10 to 15 mins. You sit there just waiting to move on as you know where it's going. Long pregnant pauses with so called dramatic music abound. That was after 60 episodes. Have now watched another 70 episodes. The music has got worse as has the time filling. There were about 25 to 30 episodes that could have been completely fast forwarded. As for the male hero he has definitely developed into a John Snow (GoT). A very good heart but the dumbest of the dumb. 20 episodes to go. Got to the end of 164 episodes. Was it a crime show or a love story? As a crime story it was a good story but the good guys were just so dumb. And in which police force would it be OK to take civilians around with you all the time. At the end the hero finally solves his father's murder in 20 mins. It took him and his officers 150 odd episodes to solve his second fiancees murder. Overall 1 star for the crime part of the show. If you are middle eastern or Indian, the love story would rank high. As a westerner it just plain annoys. One episode they are boyfriend/girlfriend and then not. Engaged then not. Obviously not suited to each other. Overall rating; 2 stars.

This spin-off ticks every PC Woke box currently available from the multi ethnic cast to the sex scene. The killer however was the fake wave scene followed by the "never turn your back on the ocean" line. If it wasn't the pilot episode would have thought that was the "jumping the shark" moment.

Almost impossible to start with how bad this movie is. It has absolutely nothing going for it.

Very poor with an unbelievable conversion towards the end.

As a SiFi show I am enjoying the series. As a show based on Asimov's Foundation, absolutely not enjoying it. Apart from the name, planetary system names and some characters names it bears very little resemblance. Even the Emperors name, now 3 clones, is from a couple of hundred years in the future which this series has not reached. A very poor adaptation of the book.

For the first three series the show is quite good apart from the extremely poor acting of the lead character. Really surprised that he wasn't replaced for the fourth series. The ending of the 3rd series was poor though and not believable. Will watch 4th series despite faults as on the whole the stories are good.
