The writer deserves applause for incorporating the supernatural as a natural part of Janakikutty’s world.The yakshi, depicted not as a malevolent force but as a compassionate and protective figure, adds depth to the narrative.The film excels in its use of magical realism, seamlessly blending the supernatural into a realistic environment and treating these fantastical elements as normal and unremarkable occurrences, unlike pure fantasy.
