Like most of you, this was my favorite Anne Rice trilogy. When I heard they were doing this I was both excited and skeptical. I downloaded it on Audible, don’t judge, I just don’t have the time to sit down and read at the moment, so it would be fresh in my head. I heated they were going to take some creative license with it but man, they took them and ran a marathon with them! First, Rowan was to keep the Mayfair name (and was blonde) No Michael Curry? Their love story IS the story! No Aaron Lightner? Again, a huge part of the plot! I will say, the actress playing Carlotta nailed it and it was great seeing Annabeth Gish! I could go on but what’s the point? I’m going to continue watching because I just hit the stage in my life where I’m comfortable yelling at the tv!
