Love the base story, hate the end. DC made a last minute story arc change so they could continue to ride on the success of the first run. (AKA Lost/Prison Break etc. ). They should have concluded and dealt with the fallout and stragglers. And ignoring certain standards of powers some of the heroes have, as well as creating false logistics to justify certain story parts leaves me little hope they will follow up with a decent story. (Ex. Superman should have heard the lack of heartbeats from the undead, Starfire's blood negates holy items and silver's effect on vampires).
