Reagan Augustine

I'll keep this short and simple. I adore enemies to lovers, I adore fantasy, and I adore a plot for the crown. That being said, just because this show sort of checked my boxes doesn't mean I'd ever rewatch it. I watched the first half of the show avidly, but then once Jane became queen, I found the writing made me lose all of my interest. Literally, once I got to the finale, I was skipping scenes until I saw Jane and Guildford in the same one. I think this show is fun. It is camp and it knows it, so I give it props for that. I would say that I'd rewatch the first half of the season (maybe) but not the second half. When my couple was on-screen, I ate up their chemistry. But after a while, I lost all interest in all of the characters (even Jane which is disappointing as I was very invested in her at the start of the show). Overall, I'd say it's a 2.5/5 stars, but because this rating system doesn't have 1/2's, I give it a 2. Liked the leading couple, hated the plots and writing.
