Yes... its fiction but since when is the President a semi- James Bond? Too much unnecessary detail and I've lost interedt halfway through the book.
If it had two unknown authors it would have just been another book on the shelf.
Doubtful ill even finish it.

Nothing like Shantaram as far as the story. VERY wordy and ultra descriptive beyond the point of tedium. 860 pages could have been reduced by 2/3. Too many characters and preachy to boot.
More metaphors than meat.
I skimmed through many chapters because they were boring and unnecessary.

Very enjoyable tv. Reminds me of a pre CSI format. Great cast and plots always keep you guessing.
Wryly funny and great back and forth banter between the characters. Very pleasantly surprised how much I’m enjoying it.
