for me this was a profound piece of writing. It tells of the things that Ben Gurion expressly forbad, it is not our place to take vergence, but it takes almost superhuman moral strength not to. In his condemnation of reverge Ben Gurion joined Mandela who said the same thing - forgiveness is very hard, but is necessary for peace. Look at the world now - never has it needed more the antidote of understanding, moral principles and the salve of forgiveness.
