Very well achieved with sufficient psychological complexity for a contemporary audience. However, the 2 stories of the 2 protagonists are puzzlingly complex, often unnecessarily. This leaves the audiences questioning the plot too much and therefore the dis-suspension of disbelief. Nicely directed, and shot with generally very good performances.
