Very little character development. Have had 4 seasons to do so. Not sure why the captain (Michael) is usually the one to "save the day" and the cliché inspirational speech. I can tell they're attempting to be "more Trek" so that's a positive I guess. Still can't get into it though. Digging the new uniforms.
