In general, it's a fun hack and slash with great boss designs and graphics. It has mass appeal. However, my gripe is that this game seems to be really popular among sweaty, h0rny, shallow men that absolutely need all the women in video games to be "perfect" or they aren't interested in playing. If the women and cyborgs didn't look like AV models, this game would not be nearly as popular and that's pretty sad commentary on the state of video games and a segment of the community that plays them. I don't need to find the characters attractive to be interested in playing a game. I care about the whole package--story, graphics, game play. It's a shame to see things devolve and people inject "culture wars" into video games when it's not that deep. More POC and lgbtq+ people in games isn't hurting you. We can have Stellar Blade and we can have Baldurs gate. There should be room for everyone in video games.
