*Review Edited, read until the end* It had it's moments and the idea was a good one. I just watched because of the name, thinking it was like London has Fallen or whatever with an action star in it. You know, Morgan Freeman, Jaime Foxx type movie. Nope. So a little while into it I was like what is this actor's name? Tom Getty. Ok, he doesn't look like an action star, so maybe that's the point. Then when I realized he didn't act extremely well, I wondered who chose him for the movie. Guess what? Tom Getty chose Tom Getty. He wrote it, directed it, AND starred in it. So now, instead of just a "meh" movie, I feel like it may have been Tom Getty wanting so badly to be an action star that he wrote and directed a movie with a name that tricked people into thinking it was a different movie to get them to watch. (This sounds meaner than I actually intend for it to sound). I actually stopped watching at that point because knowing then that it was just the Tom Getty show meant it wasn't going to get any better. Poor dude, hope he didn't finance it ad well. That being said he's not a TERRIBLE actor, just not an action star in my opinion as a stupid viewer with no acting experience what-so-ever. Tom Getty looks like a nice guy though, lol.
**edit - So...maybe he's not a nice guy, lol. The original name of this movie was Rising Fear, it had a $6 K budget...as in 6 thousand dollars to make. So, yeah...he probably did finance it with a personal loan from The Dollar Bank. And what is now making me mean about it...He renamed the movie to America had Fallen and rebranded it when London has Fallen came out to try and make money from the London Movie and con people out of money, like me, who only watched it for that name. And I'm glad I stopped it 45 minutes in because the reviews for the rest of it are even worse**
