I agree with everything already said. My main disappointment was Richard Wilson. His grumpy demeanor was perfect in the long running series 'One foot in the grave' but in 'Carry on Columbus' he was just miserable. He did no acting and had hardly any dialogue. Jim Dale was the only good thing about the film. He is an under rated actor and singer.

What starts as intoxicating fun for her to a soundtrack of songs from Cilla Black and Dusty Springfield turns into a deeply disturbing and gripping tale of what lurks in the seedy underbelly of Soho that will have you on the edge of your seat!
