Thought Gibson made Hamlet transparent and sympathetic

I loved this. It helped introduce Shakespeare to my 11 year old son, who now loves it. I was not a super fan of Danes' performance but Dicaprio and Tibult and Mercutio all but made up for it.

I just thought it was awesome watching the artist create in such different ways from each other and even though it's a platform I will never do just watching the creativity and envisioning these bizarre Concepts and pulling them off was pretty cool to me. I'm hoping by the second season they'll refine some of the judging. I think bringing in two random workers to help them on the finale was a huge mistake and a total disadvantage to one of the contestants. Number one they didn't understand at all their skill or ability so how could they possibly manage people they knew nothing about and number two some of them screwed up so many times it sabotaged his efforts. The judge's criticisms we're not even close to fair for the finale. This isn't a contest for being able to manage people you've never met before it's supposed to be about art. And how can you do art when your sabotaged?? Kind of frustrating don't know if I'll be back for season 2 if it's going to be like that
