An awsome movie. I wonder why its not rated as one of all time great movies for roles of Robi Williams and De Niro. Its the type of cinema you never wish to missout. Oneof the best movies I hv ever seenmade on medical science that is not talking about hypothetical medical miracles, but wgat actually transpired. No melodrama but a realistic and precise depiction. Hats off to Robi and De Niro.

A good watch. The inadvertantly growing love between Pat & Tiffany amidst a fathers effort to reconcile with his son, makes this a goodone to watch. Bradely Cooper, Robert De Nero and Jennifer Lawrance made it a nice warm story.

Its like any other ordinary movies those get 8 and 9 out of 10. However, this is getting low score for that ridiculous boycott nonsense by those, who have been brain hijacked and taught (not by their parents but current edge politicians) about their culture and how its been destroyed like you tell something to kids in kindergarten. Result, low ratings.

Its the same zonre of useless indian movies those belittle, some extraordinary movies indian filmmakers otherwise are calable of making. This forms those aroumd 80% bollywood movies those are being made for the sake of it and add more to existing garbage pool.

If someone wishes to watch good meaningful cinema, its out there.

Making a bio-pic without dramatising the narration to an extent that would kill its soul, is an impossible task for Indian film makers. We are poor bio-pic makers for decades and this movie is in same league. Telling a story through Cinema without making it gigantic and getting carried away in the process, is an art, completely eluding here. It might make you feel in awe of Shakuntla devi, but in real, its poorly made movie to depict, who she real was in life. A women much ahead of her time, who carried herself poised, confident and futuristic. If you see free to browse videos of Shakuntla Devi, and what is portrayed in movie are two characters miles apart. Vidya Balan couldn't resist overacting and made a joke of skuntala devi's persona. The mature, witty and versatile character of Shakuntla devi, and the way she carried herself, was portrayed as a humourous and over-acted character by Vidya. The mother-daughter relationahip is too much dramatised & lacked to portray strong persona Shankutla Devi had kept all her life without being emotionally vulnerable. Poor reading, script and direction. Really felt bad that the movie could not do justice to a great person well ahead of her time. Poorly made and acted movie.

A must watch for lovers of world cinema. Wonderfully told story. Marathi cinema has given so much to world cinema.

India needs to start thinking making movies for a story telling and not to garland the actors. Most good stories also look overtly dramatised. If this is what is made for mainstream indian viewer, then I must say that taste is changing now. Ind watch more world cinema ans like the story telling than overacting and over boarding of indian style of cinema except for upper class audience.

A cinema with hopelessness and hope chase each other. An engrossing story. Not for those who wants to see the world either this way or that way, in a movie. It's a painful depiction of drug addiction and a gem of father-son series of movies. Exhausted but enjoyed watching.
