Amazing! I was unsure at first because there’s a lot of lore to cover in such little time but the movie was fresh it was fun AND THERE WAS GREAT CAMEOS😉. Obviously some things aren’t going to be taken well by those who haven’t really learned the lore but Scott said it was made for the fans. I laughed a lot, I was scared at some moments, but the excited audience really tied it together. There’s a part when we see the animatronics do something out of character, but instead of hating it, it was funny because of the irony, but it soon changed back into what we know. Some plot holes, again it’s to be expected coming from a series of games with PLENTY of context to try and pull from but I’d watch it again. And I recommend it to FANS of the game AND lore😁. I definitely would like a sequel sometime soon that branches off into the movie plot a bit more. I would also like to say I understand why it was pg-13, although rated r would give us a perfect kill, the younger audience should feel connected as well, as Vanessa was introduced the most recent. Ps: I’m writing this to counteract the confused reviews who didn’t know what this film was about. Spoiler: AND MATHEW LILLARD DID THE GHOSTFACE KNIFE SWIPE AS TRIBUTE AHHH IT WAS AMAZING🤩
