SPOILERS: I liked season 1and 2, but by 3 I gave up. It was so insular, hyper-focused on the after-effect of The Affair, but season 4 was the best ever, and as the scope widened, I loved it. By the end, there was redemption for some of the characters, and a feeling upliftment, even though it was in the future and the planet was dying. Which, really, is what is happening now.
