With this lineup- What's there not to like? Hank Mobley,Donald Byrd-John Jenkins-Bobby Timmons,Wilbur Ware,and my personal favorite Drummer Philly Joe Jones.. My only complaint Its too short. I guess there were no extra tracks or other unused versions available.. But its great! And a special shout out goes to Rudy Van Gelder for the Remastering job. 'Nuff said..

A top-notch album by a top-notch trio. A must have, IMHO. Very enjoyable. 'Nuff said.

A virtual Outlaws reunion. This album will please everyone-from the casual listener to the die-hard fan alike. It's on my list of top-20 cds I must have if i'm ever stranded or exiled. Buy it-you'll like it. 'NUff said.

This is an incredible album by 'The Quiet Beatle'. A timeless masterpiece, with gangs of who's who guest musicians, including fellow Beatle Ringo. I remember buying it when it came out. Now I'm looking forward to the remixed 50th[is it really that long ago?!] Anniversary Edition. With the release of the single remix of the title track-it promises to not disappoint. 'Nuff said.

WHY hasn't Uptown Records ever released this on CD? It's an excellently flawless recording by Philly's native son Philly Joe Jones' Dameronia group. Play this with what I call the part II of this recording(Look,Stop & Listen),and you have some seriously excellent Jazz to enjoy.

Recorded at the First Pescara Jazz Festival in 1969. This is the only known 'Bootleg' recording of Philly Joe Jones. Recorded in mono,then apparently remastered later by I believe Nippon in Japan,Giving it new life and doing a very good job. An excellent performance throughout by all. Only four tracks,37 minutes total album time,but you get more than your money's worth in this underrated set. I highly recommend this. Buy the Japanese import if you can-vinyl if you can't. You won't regret it. 'Nuff said.
