Completely hooked, binged in about 2 days then proceeded to catch up on Manga 😆 for someone who used to watch and read quite a broad genre of anime and Manga, it is one of those that you'd expect to be an idol reverse-harem/ harem anime but NOOO! The opening credits alone hints at the darker side.
Everything from the aesthetics of artwork to the knowledge-packed entertainment industry not just in the world of music and idols but also film and theater with all its dark-sides (opens with teen pregnancy, cancer, and murder - go figure). Character development is top notch. The amount of juxtaposition between brightness of dreams and music to the bits of supernatural thrown in and the slice of life but mystery.
Great for all ages, it's a very aesthetically shoujo but almost seinen in theme(?). Haven't been this impressed by an anime in a long time. So refreshing to watch and read.
