This is my first Colleen Hoover book. After so much hype I caved and read it. Actually, I listened on audible. And I’m so glad I had lots of computer work and driving to do while I listened. That kept my mind busy while I listened to this trope. It’s not that good. Sorry, but it’s not. The characters had little development. I don’t even know what they look like. I only remember a red dress because the small amount of details were so forgettable. No one can fake a brain injury. Any dr would do an activity scan before hospital release. Lowen sleep walks and her mother drops her for that? Seriously? Way too much sex and not enough story in between. No suspense. Just disturbing child abuse images. Who was the real bad guy? Verity? Jeremy? Lowen? Who cares.
