I have never been so enraged at the end of a book before (i’ll get into this later). This book was slow at the beginning due to Mare being captured, but it begins to pick up and is still interesting learning more about Maven. I wanted to hear from Cal’s perspective SO BADLY instead of Cameron’s. I didn’t mind her view but I feel like Cal’s would have been 100% better. SPOILERS: After Mare being captured for so long reading about Cal and Mare back together and being in love was my favorite part of the book. So his choice at the end was so frustrating and I wish they would’ve worked together. I’m literally heartbroken, I feel like their relationships holds the whole story together. Still going to read the final book but i’m not happy.
