Played the game 1 and 2, to make it short doesn't make sense for the girl to take revenge for Joel when she can even forget him for not letting her die in the beginning. Trough out the game in cut cense she always has that memory of hate on Joel. To me is like Ellie didn't care for Joel until he died which is pathetic. But it is what it is, gameplay was nothing different from the first one.
